"The first thing we decided when our members came together was, 'It's about time we made a really interesting game that we ourselves want to make.' We chose Kickstarter in order to make an interesting game with the players in mind, hold the rights to the planning, world, and story of the game, all while keeping the fun of the project. This is the first time Murayama and Kawano have collaborated on a game in over 25 years. In development with Rabbit & Bear Studios, the team is made up of scenario writer Yoshitaka Murayama, and other series developers Junko Kawano, Osamu Komuta, and Junichi Murakami (thanks, Gematsu). The creators of Suikoden will launch a Kickstarter for spiritual successor Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.Įiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is an RPG set to go live on Kickstarter July 27, and the development team is made up of the creators of Suikoden, and has set a development goal of $500,000.
